Farm Well Hub Phase Two Launches to Boost Mental Health & Wellbeing in Farming Communities

Building on the success of its pilot programme in 2024, Farm Well Hub has officially launched Phase Two — a national initiative dedicated to supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of farmers and farm families across Ireland. Funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and led by Amella Wellbeing Coaching & Consultancy Ltd, this phase brings expanded supports, training, and resources designed for the unique needs of farming communities.

Key Points in Farm Well Hub Phase two:

  1. Digital-first wellbeing platform tailored for agriculture.
  2. Delivered with support from Suicide or Survive (SOS) and sectoral collaborators such as ICMSA, ACA, Teagasc, and Finola Colgan Carey.

New Supports Included in Phase Two of the Farm Well Hub:

  1. Online training on stress, self-care, and resilience
  2. Programmes for supporting loved ones with mental health challenges
  3. “5 Ways to Wellbeing” campaign
  4. Ongoing wellness challenges and weekly updates

“We’re not just talking about health, we’re building a culture of wellbeing within farming,” says Anne-Marie Doran, Project Lead and Founder of Amella Wellbeing Coaching & Consultancy Ltd.
